Operating Hours and Availability

Our nursery operates year-round, open from 8 AM to 6 PM, 51 weeks a year, with an early morning session starting as early as 7:30 AM. We encourage parents to reach out for any inquiries regarding fees or funding options available to support your family's needs.

Simplified Fee Structure

We believe in transparency and simplicity regarding our nursery fees. Our all-inclusive fee covers:

  • Meals
  • Formula milk and drinks
  • Nappies and wipes
  • Activities
  • Special events and celebrations
  • Day-to-day resources and consumables

Charges are structured to facilitate budgeting, calculated based on an annual cost that is divided into 12 equal monthly payments. We utilize a 50-week fiscal model, taking into account nursery closures, thus ensuring parents are not billed for holidays. Please note that we cannot issue refunds for any absences, whether due to illness or family vacations.

Invoices are issued through the Famly App approximately one week before payment is due, with payments expected to be made one month in advance. Your first invoice will be generated on your child's initial session.

Payment Methods

Multiple payment options are available for your convenience, including:

  • Bank transfer
  • Tax-Free Childcare Scheme
  • Direct debit
  • Debit card payments via our Famly App
  • Cash
  • Childcare vouchers

For families utilizing the Tax-Free Childcare Scheme, eligible parents will benefit from a 20% top-up towards their childcare costs, enhancing financial support.

Childcare Funding Details

Parents must verify their eligibility for various funding schemes, which often cover 15 or 30 hours of childcare per week, aligned with school terms. It is crucial to note that while these schemes offer substantial assistance, they do not encompass all costs, such as meals and hygiene products.

Key Eligibility Insights:

  • All parents are entitled to 15 hours of funding.
  • Working families may qualify for 30 hours.
  • Specific funding for children with special needs is also available.

Meals and Nutrition

Bright Line Nursery prides itself on providing healthy, locally sourced meals, freshly prepared by our on-site chef. We believe that mealtimes are not only essential for nourishment but are also significant opportunities for social learning. Every day, children enjoy a balanced diet that fosters healthy eating habits. Our meal plan includes:

  • Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea
  • Mid-morning and afternoon snacks
  • Water, milk, or dairy alternatives

We regret to inform parents that packed lunches are not permitted due to safety protocols and the nutritional standards we uphold.

Flexibility in Sessions and Changes

We understand that family schedules may shift. Adjustments to your child’s sessions can be made with one month's notice, subject to availability. Unfortunately, we cannot refund fees for any absences or changes made mid-month; billing will reflect attendance.

Additionally, we are not able to facilitate term-time only places, as our nursery operates year-round to suit all families seeking reliable childcare.

 Important Information Regarding Fees

  • Payments should be made monthly, in advance, with invoices generated via the Famly App.
  • Standard rates apply for children starting after the termly headcount unless funding can be transferred from their previous childcare setting.
  • Updates to our fees will be communicated ahead of time to ensure parents can plan accordingly.
